Pontispool

 We had a very rewarding day at Pontispool on Easter Saturday with 6 young horses between Tim and me.  I was riding Ben Riach, Red Kite, Gideon and Monbeg Medlar; Tim competed Liberty and The Mountainy Man.  It was great to get these young horses out competing after a winter of training and I couldn’t have been happier with them.   They all did nice tests to score 25, 26, 27, 27, 31 and 33 and all six jumped double clears.  Aside from the odd spooky moment they coped admirably in the wind and torrential rain and finished 1^st, 2^nd, 2^nd, 3^rd, 5^th and 9^th.   Not bad for a days work!
