International win at Burgham
We took a strong crew of horses up to Northumberland for Burgham International. It’s a long way to travel but well worth the trip for what’s a very horse friendly event with great tracks and a super ‘can-do’ organising team. Most of our horses were there for a prep run ahead of Burghley and Blenheim. I like to run these horses quietly cross country so they have time to read and digest every question without getting their blood up and brains racing. I couldn’t have been happier with them.
Uvera Z, however, made the trip north to have a crack at winning the 2* following a very sucessful start to his season. He did a super test to lie 3rd after dressage, and his show jumping clear round moved him into the lead in a large and competitive class. He flew round the cross country immaculately to take the International WIN.
