Successful Tweseldown
We had a super day at Tweseldown yesterday, despite some very early alarms, and were delighted with all three horses. Taz was a winner in the Intermediate Novice with a leading dressage score of 26.6. He jumped a beautiful clear round in the show jumping and Harry gave him a lovely ride cross country to finish just over the optimum time but still 3 points ahead of the rest of the class - a great result for his lovely team of owners. Mister Optimistic, who was first on in the dressage, also did a lovely test to lead his section. The show jumping seemed to cause quite a bit of trouble and there were very few clear rounds but Mo jumped well, rolling just one pole, and finished in 7th place after a steadier run cross country this time. Catherston Definitive was on good form too, scoring 31 in the dressage and juming well in both phases.
After a quick turn around last night and re-packing of the lorry, Harry & Jess set off for Ireland early this morning with Away Cruising and Vrolijk who are competing in the CCI** at Tattersalls. Fingers crossed for a good week...
