Multiple trips to Mount Ballan

 Harry spent much of last week at Mount Ballan and almost every horse on the yard was there at some point! 

They ran an excellent mid week Combined Training competition with FEI dressage tests which was a perfect outing for horses about to go to a three day, who have missed numerous runs due to cancelled events.  The huge all weather arena provided sufficient atmosphere to act as a dress rehearsal for Houghton.  All the horses worked well with three out of four jumping clear rounds in the show jumping and Tall Story winning the 1* competition.  

Over the weekend Harry took four young horses back for the BE100 and Open Novice horse trials.  Both Zebedee and A Modern Duchess came home with rosettes on Saturday having jumped lovely double clears.  A Modern Duchess did a lovely dressage test to score 28 and Harry was pleased with the improvement Zebedee is making.  Away Cruising also did a lovely test (with a slightly disappointing mark), and jumped beautifully in the 5 year old class. He is looking like an exciting prospect for the future.
