Hambleden International

It was well worth going all the way to Hambelden for just two dressage tests on Friday with both Away Cruising and Tall Story excelling themselves on the flat.  In two very competitve CIC* sections Away Cruising did a fabulous test to score 43.7, lying less than a point behind the leader in 2nd place, with Tall Story scoring 46.0 which put him into 4th place.   Tall Story had missed all of his outings so far this season so it was great to have him out at last and in great form.    Returning for the jumping on Saturday, both horses jumped lovely clear rounds in the show jumping and Tall Story gave Harry a great ride cross country to finish in third place.  Away Cruising, who shows huge promise for the future, had a green hestitation at the top on the steps but went on to complete successfully.
