Bicton Horse Trials

As Harry's final event before WEG it was a great relief to get him home safely on all three horses!  We had Vrolijk running in his first OI as he is now into Advanced points, and it was certainly a section full of serious horses including a number of four star winners! Away Cruising was running in the Intermediate and Beauty B in the Novice.  The dressage marking was quite tough throughout all sections so we were pleased with the horses performances and all three went on to jump lovely clear rounds in the show jumping.   Vrolijk looked super cross country and finished in 10th place having had a steady round and Harry also gave Beauty B a steady cruise round to finish in 5th place.  Away Cruising had a slight altercation with a ditch giving him 20 penalties which was frustrating as he has been feeling so established cross country.

It is now all systems go with the final preparations before the World Equestrian Games!
