Foot perfect Aston

We took Away Cruising and Vrolijk to Aston le Walls for a pre - Tatts run a couple of days after Badminton and they both felt super.  Away Cruising lead after the dressage by a decent margin on a score of 25, which was particularly pleasing as he was the first horse of the day in his section, and he jumped a lovely clear round in the show jumping.  With the ground on the firm side and having felt excellent cross country all season we decided not to risk him and withdrew after the show jumping.  Vrolijk was hot on his heels with a dressage score of 27 and he felt on top form jumping a faultless double clear.  We couldn't have asked for more from either of them and look forward to the trip across to Dublin next week!
