Surviving the Yorkshire snow

Last month I spent five days at Chris Bartle’s and learnt that the art of being snowed in is to do it in the right place! We managed to get up there in the nick of time and worked the horses with Chris each day in the indoor school and I came away feeling we had achieved a lot.

This was particularly positive when the alternative would have been fresh horses on box rest or walking around in snow drifts.
