Weston Park

 

We had a great day at Weston Park yesterday with Tinkas Time and Wild Lone.  After winning there last year, this time Tinkas Time finished third in a very close OI whilst Wild Lone had a perfect prep run before Badminton.  Tinkas Time did a lovely dressage test only let down by jogging for a few steps during his walk and this was followed by a super clear round in a big and influential show jumping.  He gave me a fantastic ride cross country picking up just two time faults, finishing up on a penalty score of 32.9. I was really pleased with Wild Lone who produced some lovely work in the dressage with great comments from the judge.  He jumped really well in the show jumping, annoyingly rolling one pole, and gave me a lovely confident ride cross country, steady as planned as only two weeks until Badminton!
