Weston Park Horse Trials
Tinkas Time had a very impressive win in the OI - making it 3 wins in as many weeks for Harry - and finished a convincing 12 marks ahead of the field! A polished test put him in the lead from the start on a score of 24.5. This was followed by a good clear in the show jumping and a confident round cross country with just 2.4 time faults to add. It was great result and we're thrilled for his owner, Nigella Hall, who is a brilliant supporter.
Wild Lone went to do the dressage and show jumping in the Advanced. He did some good work in the dressage but really frustratingly spun round in the rein back. Last weekend he became anxious of the busy crowd that was close to the dressage arena at Belton, and the experience seems to have stayed with him as there was very little atmosphere today. Alf's a bit of a worrier, but hopefully this can be ironed out before Badminton. He had a lovely clear in the show jumping. Overall it was a very good day and we all enjoyed the stunning weather.
