Hartpury and Aston le Walls

Today was a great day in the dressage department with an early trip to Hartpury to do the CIC*** guinea pig test with Wild Lone followed by two intermediate horses running at Aston le Walls.  Yogi was there to help with Wild Lone who did a very pleasing and mistake free test to score 49 which we were delighted with.  He has improved hugely over the past year and will hopefully continue to do so. 

Both Vrolijk and Away Cruising put in top performances in their intermediate section to lie 1st and 2nd after the dressage on 22 and 23!  It was a big and competitive section and there were only a couple of others with scores in the 20s so I was thrilled with them both.  I decided not to run Away Cruising cross country as he didn't need the run and the ground was on the firm side but Vrolijk gave me a super ride to finish in 2nd place.
