Express Eventing Final HOYS

A fantastic result for Tinkas Time who finished 3rd in the very exciting final of Express Eventing 2011 at the Horse of the Year Show! He performed an immaculate dressage test to music in the very atmospheric arena at the NEC's LG Arena and received huge cheers from the crowd as he came down the centre line for his final halt!

He didn't put a foot wrong all day and jumped a confident clear round in the cross country. He was lying in 6th place going into the final show jumping phase and it appeared to be causing a lot of problems, but Tinkas Time jumped the first (and one of only two) clear rounds putting pressure on the last few to jump. There was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the competition and it was tense right to the end.

Harry said he'd never ridden in an atmosphere like it, more like a pop concert than a three day event! It was great fun and a brilliant experience.
