Ascott under Wychwood

The organisers of Ascott under Wychwood put on a brilliant event this weekend with a beautifully presented cross country course and a lovely feel.  All that was lacking was the sunshine!  We took two youngsters, Away Cruising and Zebedee, both of whom put in good performances in all three phases.  With the firm ground Harry opted to save their legs and take them steadily but Away Cruising was in pole position to win his section had Harry chosen to run him  competitively across country.  He did a lovely dressage to score 25.5 and jumped a confident double clear.  Zebedee also did a nice test, scoring 34.  He has been a slow developer and we feel there is still lots of improvement to come.  He jumped another super double clear and is almost ready to step up to Novice in a couple of weeks.
