All in the ribbons at Chepstow

It was a joy to be eventing in the sunshine at Chepstow on Saturday and a lovely event.  Our horses really didn't put a foot wrong all day, with all three jumping double clears and working well in the dressage.

Zebedee redeemed himself after Nunney, trying really hard in the dressage and he was definitely on Harry's side this time!   The scoring in his section was quite tough so we were really pleased with his score of 34.  He jumped a lovely careful round in the show jumping and with just a few time penalties to add cross country, he finished 5th in the Intermediate Novice.

Away Cruising also did a pleasing test, again in a high scoring section, so we were happy with his mark of 31. He too jumped a lovely clear round in the show jumping and after a steady cross country ride he finished in 10th place.  He is developing really well cross country and Harry is keen to continue producing him quietly.

Bonmahon Gemstone had his first outing of the season after a minor set back at the end of the end of the winter.  He was a total gem, and gave Harry an easy ride in all three phases, finishing on his dressage score in 7th place.
