Horses run at last

We are hugely grateful to the team at Burnham Market for being so accommodating with entries following all the cancelled events and it was great to get a run at last for some of the horses.   We made the trip up to Norfolk with Wild Lone, Away Cruising and Shannondale Santiago and they certainly didn't let us down!  The ground was fantastic, despite walking the course in a blizzard on Friday morning, and the sun even made an appearance.

All three horses were super in the dressage and jumped brilliantly.  Away Cruising led his section on a score of 25, followed up by a lovely double clear.   With a win easily in his sight, Harry was restrained and took him at a sensible speed for a confident first run to finish in 4th place.  The other horses were both competing HC as this was the only way we could squeeze them in but Harry was delighted with them and we're looking forward to Larkhill and Weston Park next weekend.
