Many thanks to the students of Askham Bryan College

I was very touched to hear last winter that the students of Askham Bryan College in Yorkshire had elected to commission a portrait of Wild Lone.  On Thursday I met up with some of the students at Bramham where they presented me with the finished painting by Katy Ferrari.  It is a wonderful momento by which to remember such a very special horse, and I am hugely touched the thought and generosity of the students who organised, and paid for this project.
