Sunny Belton

It was a joy to finally be eventing in the sunshine and always great to be at Belton with it's brilliant buzzy atmosphere.  We took Wild Lone and Shannondale Santiago for a very long day trip with a 3.30am departure! Wild Lone has been incredibly consistent so far this season adding another lovely dressage score of 29.1 to his tally.  Shannondale Santiago also did a good correct and rhythmical test to score 32 and Harry will be looking to add a little more punch next time for really high marks. Both horses jumped well in the show jumping and Shannondale Santiago flew round the Intermediate cross country giving Harry a really great and confident ride, and looking like a real partnership.  Wild Lone, having run so well in the Advanced at Weston Park last weekend, didn't need the run cross country so his next run will be Badminton!
