Wilton and Gatcombe

A great outing to Wilton last weekend with 2nd placings for Easter Fable and A Modern Duchess. Both horses missed out on a win by less than 1 penalty point! Tall Story went into the cross country in the lead in the Intermediate after a lovely dressage test and clear round show jumping but he let himself down by spooking at a tree guard and having to cross his tracks on the cross country course giving him 20 penalties! His spooky nature is frustrating as he is such a super jumper.  

Tinkas Time did a very competetive dressage test in the Intermediate Championships at Gatcombe but an uncharacteristic few fences down in the show jumping meant that he did not run cross country and will go to Aston-le-Walls on Thursday instead.
