Burghley Cross Country

Wild Lone did us all proud today and didn't put a foot wrong round the challenging Burghley cross country track today.   He made the whole course feel effortless and came home full of running.  Having watched a huge number of problems on the course and seen a lot of extremely tired horses I set off to conserve energy for Wild Lone.   This was his first Burghley and it much more of a test of stamina than Badminton or Luhmuhlen so we didn't know how he'd cope.  Now we can't wait to be back next year!
